Support Groups: You Are Not Alone

Our Support Groups

"Pain shared is half felt",

Suggests that when we share our pain with others, it becomes easier to bear. The idea is that by expressing our pain and having it acknowledged by others, we can find comfort and support, and the burden of our pain is lessened.

At Touch of Peace Care, we believe that healing begins in spaces where people feel emotionally safe, heard, and respected. Our support groups are thoughtfully designed, professionally facilitated, and rooted in compassion. Each group offers a sense of belonging while honouring individual experiences.

Sukoon- Emotional Support Group (Monthly)

A gentle space for emotional support, grounding, and connection.

Sukoon is a warm, nurturing emotional support group for individuals experiencing stress, overwhelm, loneliness, confusion, or significant life transitions. It is especially supportive for teens, students, and young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, low motivation, emotional fatigue, or the feeling of not being fully understood.

Sukoon offers a calm, structured, and non-judgemental environment where participants can slow down, reflect, and connect with others at their own pace. Each monthly session is facilitated by trained professionals and thoughtfully designed to balance emotional expression with grounding and stability.
What sessions include:

  • Gentle grounding and check-ins
  • Guided reflections and shared experiences
  • Creative or reflective activities
  • Shared validation and community

Sessions are held monthly on Zoom with 8–15 participants. Emotional safety is prioritised through clear group agreements, mindful communication, strict confidentiality, and the freedom to step away whenever needed.
How to join Sukoon: Complete a short registration form. A brief screening call may be scheduled if required. Once confirmed, you’ll receive session details and fee information.
Sukoon is a space to talk, to pause, and to feel supported, gently rebuilding clarity, resilience, and inner calm, one conversation at a time.

Samved- Neurodivergent Support Group (Monthly)

A neurodiversity‑affirming space for difference, sensitivity, and lived experience.

Samved is an inclusive support group for neurodivergent individuals, including autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, and other neurodivergent people—whether formally diagnosed or self‑identified. It is a space created for those who experience the world differently and seek understanding without judgment or pressure to mask.
Samved supports individuals navigating sensory overwhelm, masking fatigue, burnout, academic or workplace challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, or the ongoing experience of being misunderstood.

The group centres acceptance, autonomy, and emotional safety.

Sessions are held monthly on Zoom in small groups of 6–12 participants and follow a predictable, sensory‑friendly structure.

What sessions include:

  • Gentle grounding and orientation
  • Themed discussions around shared experiences
  • Optional sharing (verbal, chat‑based, or reflective)
  • Practical tools for emotional regulation and self‑advocacy

Samved respects diverse communication styles. Cameras and microphones may remain off, breaks are encouraged, and participation is always optional. Confidentiality and accessibility are central to the group’s design.
